I’m a Gulf Coast angler, educator, and the creator of Coastal Fishing with Randall and founder of Marshline Fishing Co.
Like many anglers, I didn’t learn fishing from a professional guide or tournament circuit. Most of what I’ve learned has come from years of time on the water and studying conditions, experimenting with techniques, making mistakes, and discovering what consistently helps anglers catch more fish.
Through Coastal Fishing with Randall, I share fishing adventures, lessons learned, and practical tips from the marshes, bayous, rivers, and coastal waters of the Gulf Coast.
As that passion grew, I created Marshline Fishing Co. as the home of The Marshline Method which is a collection of fishing education, articles, videos, podcasts, gear recommendations, and resources designed to help everyday anglers become more successful on the water.
Most of my fishing focuses on redfish, speckled trout, and flounder from kayaks and small boats, but I also enjoy freshwater fishing for bass, crappie, catfish, and panfish.
I am not a tournament pro or professional guide. I’m simply an everyday angler who enjoys learning, sharing knowledge, and helping others shorten the learning curve.
Whether you’re fishing from a kayak, a boat, or the shoreline, my goal is simple:
Help you spend less time guessing and more time catching fish.
Thank you for being part of the Marshline community. I hope the information, videos, podcasts, and resources you find here help you fish smarter, build confidence, and enjoy every trip more.
